The History of Monash Ultrasound for Women
In 1990, Monash Ultrasound for Women expanded its services opening
new rooms at 252-254 Clayton Rd , Clayton. This site also provides
a wide variety of obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound including
ultrasound guided invasive procedures.
In 1996 Monash Ultrasound moved its rooms at Erin Street,
Richmond to the Epworth Hospital, Bridge Rd, Richmond and we
have now moved to our current site at Healthbridge Hawthorn
Private Hospital, 50 Burwood Road, Hawthorn. In July 1998 Monash Ultrasound for Women opened new rooms
at the Coorah Clinic in Boxhill and later, in 2001, moved
to the new consulting suites at Boxhill Gardens Medical Centre.
In March 2005 Monash Ultrasound for Women expanded services
and moved to a high profile stand alone, centrally located,
purpose built facility located on busy Whitehorse Rd in Box
Hill.The new facility has state of the art equipment including
a new 3D scan machine and offers the patients are warm, caring
and friendly environment.
In December 2010 Monash Ultrasound for Women opened new rooms at the Healthbridge Hawthorn private surgical hospital, 50 Burwood Rd, Hawthorn 3122. The site is located adjacent to the new cradle facility and has been established as the central branch of Monash Ultrasound for Women.
In June 2011, Monash Ultrasound for Women merged with Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound, establishing the largest private obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound service in the state of Victoria. |
